review 1: This is comics as literature at it's finest. Wertz is brilliant. Dealing with intertwining autobio topics like illness, reclusion, alcoholism, literature, family, and work, this comic is a massive piece of work, a series of shorter stories that weave together as one. Also the stories overlapped in a slightly clumsy way. But I am glad that I read this and now I want to read the rest of her books. less
