review 1: I can's say enought about this series. I am absolutely enjoying the intrigue. I love not knowing who the villians are and that it moves on throughtout all 3 books. Stephanie is so lovely and free spirited. Hatherfield is so deserving of her love, what a beautiful man. I don't want to give too much away but I was stunned when Hatherfield's past was revealed. I think a few tears fell down my face. When that happens I know it's a great book because I am so invested in the characters. Gotta go and start the next one, right now!
review 2: This was an okay story (not as good as the first in the trilogy), but sometimes difficult to follow the timeline, as it jumped back in forth between the Marquis' trial and the development of Hatherfield's and Princess Stefanie's re... morelationship.Also, I thought the ending in regards to the true guilty party and how that was wrapped up seemed abrupt. It didn't flow well with the rest of the story. less
