review 1: I would have expected the story of this couple would have been the first book, since he's the boss of the operation, but no. The background story puts it where it is. I like the inter-connectedness of that back story. This time we get out of the city and away from the compound, letting the boys be bad now, not just in the past. There is just a touch of angst, but it doesn't detract too much from the romance.
review 2: This was a great story. The big reveal of the reason Frank was reluctant to accept Becky as his lady love was pretty lame. That bumps a star off for me. There was really NOTHING holding him back from having it all with Becky and big, tough Frank should have been savvy enough to know it.Becky was an awesome heroine. The suspense was fine, the ro... moremance satisfying, and the author ends the book with just enough teasers to spur the reader into reading the next story in the series.Highly entertaining.My favorite quote: "Men. Ya can't live with 'em and ya can't just kill 'em. Sheesh." less
