review 1: This is one of those books that I loved and yet I don’t. What I loved: The overall story arc. I loved the pace of it, how the reader finds out why Uncle Theo was kidnapped and how it was resolved, especially how the Knights got to stick it the company. The way that Agent Chelsea Duvall was brought in was brilliant as well as realistic, it flowed well with the story and dear lord I can’t wait to see more sparks flying between her and Dagan, who, if it weren’t for Ozzie and Ace, would be my favorite. I loved seeing the camaraderie and bantering between the Knights. They kept things light and fun, even though the situation they are in isn’t funny at all. It could be looked at as inappropriate, but I’m all for keeping things light instead of letting it weigh you... more down. And then there’s Ozzie. To say I was thrilled that he was apart of the story is an understatement, so he definitely gets his own little shout out. Then there is Mac and Delilah. I love Delilah. I love her sass, gumption and heart. She continued to fight and believe that her Uncle was alive and even when the weight of Buzzard’s death started to get to her she found a way to fight through it. Mac, well, I love Mac, the ex FBI agent turnd BKI operative. He sees what others don’t and is able to put the pieces together so that the picture makes sense. But Mac, the man, drove me batshit crazy. I understand why he kept Delilah at way, way past arms length, so do not think I’m insensitive because what Jolene did to him was so wrong on so many levels but the man needed to get over it because Delilah was in no way like Jolene, not even close. As far as them as a couple, the chemistry was there so thank God Delilah fought for them. The other issue I had was these guys have been made out to be bad ass, totally on it, operatives, but there were things that happened, or didn’t happen, throughout the story that had me huffing and thinking “Well that was just a little too convenient” or “Why did they do that when then knew this?” Yes, these little “things” help to create more action and drama, but don’t always make sense with what has been shown in previous books. But, despite these little issues, I’m enjoying the series and looking forward to seeing what happens with the rest of the Knights.
review 2: Men who name their penis Little [insert your name here] are very juvenile to me, so having Mac talk to Little Mac was not good way to start off the book. Other not so favs:Sausage factory of a bar, meaning too many swinging dicksIn the span of a few minutes, he'd gone from his usual Mr. Cranky-Pants to Sir Kissy Smiles-A-Lot.I say, go all Pat Benatar on her and hit her with your best shot. This book read like an odd amalgam between Stephanie Plum, Kristen Ashley's more over the top works, and a transcript from a frat house. Not appealing less

Really good book, loved the humour of Ozzie, too cute. All the characters make this series!
