review 1: 4-1/2 stars: Not quite as exciting as the first book in the series but still very enjoyable and a ton of fun. Lexi cracks me up with all the crazy situations she ends up in. Without ruining anything, the scene in the strip club was the funniest! I'm not a huge fan of her best friend but otherwise I love the other characters. This series is a great blend of cozy mystery and chick lit. I'm looking forward to reading more.
review 2: I have really enjoyed the first 2 books so far. It's a great series with a good mix of mystery, funny moments and romanc. Although I wish the romance would move along a little faster, I think Lexi needs some more confidence in herself when it comes to men. When it concerns her work, she is an empowered female. But she doesn't see hers... moreelf as pretty even though she has 2 men hotly pursuing her. Hopefully the next book will be better. less
