review 1: This book was SO FUN to read!The main plot is AWESOME and the subplots are WONDERFUL!SO GOOD to have someone else's drama to take my mind off of my own drama!Tori Winters works on the set of the TV reality show, Vows.She helps pull together the magic of love as the bachelor chooses one of the bachelorettes.This season is different...she, herself, is attracted to the bachelor and finds it increasingly difficult to watch him spend time with anyone else but her.And to top it all of the bachelor finds sneaky ways to flirt with her.But they have both signed a contract and will jeopardize everything if they play on their feelings.Tori's only relief from reality TV is going to the Newport Ladies Book Club.However, while there one night she realizes that real life is also filled w... moreith drama as she discovers that one of her friends from the book club has an addiction to prescription drugs.Can Tori help her friend?Can Tori keep her job?Can Tori put her heart on the line?A REALLY FUN ENDING!This book can be read as a stand alone title, but will make more sense if you have read the other books in the series...they are all PHENOMENAL!
review 2: I get that this is part of a series on different people in a book club, but unless you read all the books (which is probably what the authors want) the huge sections of this book dedicated to the book club just got in the way of the story. I found myself skipping all of it to get back to the story. It was so disjointed it was annoying. Actual story about Tori & Chris was what I was interested in reading - not the backstory of book club participants. I don't intend to read the other books so I'm reviewing it as a stand alone book, that bit was annoying. less
