review 1: "Highlander Claimed" take a refreshing approach, forcefully uniting the two protagonists at the outset and then writing about their path to happiness and acceptance in the eyes of others, not a tortured back-and-forth over whether or not they even like one another as is typical. Unfortunately, the instantaneous connection rings a bit hollow, the book drags quite a bit, the author uses so much foreshadowing as to make her characters appear dimwitted, and the heroine somehow goes from self-possessed and independent to a meek pawn over the course of the romance novel. Still fun to read, but not my favorite.
review 2: absolutely loved it ! wilkie n roses shared a very deep n unique connection. they were made 4 each other. wilkie was besotted at first sight itself n
... more entirely devoted 2 her. mind-blowing read ! i fell in love wid wilkie at first sight, just by roses description of him. he was any girl's dream in the bedroom n more. he was gorgeous, stunning n more:D the only thing i did not like abt the book was laird mackenzie. dats wilkie's brother knox. he looked down on roses n was an ass. he wanted wilkie 2 bed her n 2 satisfy his lust. n ofc, when he learned of her true heritage, now he welcomed her wid open arms. neway, this is a 4.5 star from me. it came very close 2 a 5 star becoz it was an absolutely terrific read but i guess i like der 2 be some angst bet hero and heroine less

Overall enjoyable read. Interesting point of view. Dialogue sometime a little too sickly-sweet.
