review 1: This was a very quick read the PoV was by Kale and it was during the summer him and Dez were locating the Sixes on the list Brandt gave them. You do not have to read this and can just go straight to the second book but it is a good short story. In this novella you see how hard it is for Kale to understand things but I have still not warmed to him as he seems too child-like. Will be reading book number two shorty.
review 2: I totally loved that this was told from Kale's POV!! I love watching how he experiences new things. So sweet and innocent to a lot of the ways of the world. It as a little hard at first to switch gears and remember who was talking, but enjoyed the change up! I loved all of the one liners and found myself laughing a lot!! Looking forward ... moreto the next one to see what happens next! Loving Kale and Dez!!!! I also enjoyed Kiernan, hopefully we will see more of her too, she's sassy and really funny! less
