review 1: Justin Bog's Sandcastle and Other Stories is rich in characters and emotions. When i read the first story, The Virtue Of Minding Your Own Business, I was instantly hooked by his storytelling. A water theme ran throughout the book, but each story was stand alone art. I admit I was a bit nonplussed by being invested in each story only to have it end too soon, but then how many people do you meet in life that you know all their secrets, the complete book of their lives? This wasn't a quick read for me, because I wanted to sit with each story and let it sink in. I loved this book and I am happy to give it five stars!
