review 1: A nice premise overpowered by too much sex.I know. I know. It's erotica. I should have expected it. I was a little bored by the continuous sex escapades because the story drags on a bit too long with no big story development happening.That being said, I did enjoy the story. Cameron was a jerk throughout the book but he's not completely unlikeable. Meanwhile Noah is a sweet young guy who really needs to get his head straight on what he wants in his relationship with Cameron.Watching these two guys work things out during those brief moments when they're not busy screwing each other's brains out was nice.
review 2: I was thinking of rounding it up to 3 stars, but I just can't. Between 65-85 percent of the book I was just ready to throw it down and walk away. Put ... moreit on my DNF shelf... I had potential. That is why I decided to read this book. The 'In love with sibling's best friend' scenarios. I really love those types of books. Any of the 'in love with friend's family member' books...really..This Review may contain some SPOILERS(kind of), you have been forewarned...Cam and Noah are our couple in this book. Did I love them, NO. I did not. Cam is a jerk. He is all about him and doesn't really consider about others at all. Noah is Cam's best friend's little brother(by 4 years). Noah has been in love with Cam since he was 15. Noah looses his virginity to Cam on Adam's wedding day at the age of 19. Then they don't see each other until several years later. Cam doesn't recognize McHotty at first when he shows up to a class he teaches. He is an instructor that teaches re-certifications and travels all over to teach them. Then he realizes that McHotty is none other Noah. So the sparks fly and they jump right into the sack. In fact, most of the book is smut. It was to much in my opinion. They get into a fight, let's just hop into bed, OKAY. Really. So, Noah is happy that he finally has Cam, though Cam is distant. But it seems like he is making an effort, they talk on the phone often and they go meet each other whenever they can. Since Cam works all over and his residence is 600 or so miles away. But Noah is hopeful. Then we get to about 65% and we find out that Cam has slept around since they hooked up(since the reunion in the classroom). Noah of course is pissed/jealous. Cam doesn't see much fault in it, it isn't like they had the 'talk' or anything. But not Cam has decided to be exclusive. I got so pissed at Cam's reaction that I literally put the book down and walked away. Because Noah doesn't punch him in the face and walk away from it. Anyhow, so I come back and finish the book. I found it irritating until about 85% in then Noah starts to grow so balls and stands up for himself. The ending was decent. But I simply didn't like it at all. Had potential but it wasn't for me. less
