review 1: I was gifted this book for an honest review. I have not YET had the pleasure to read The Remembrance Trilogy. After reading this book, however it will definitely be added to my TBR list!! This is also the first book of Kahlen Aymes that I have read. Such a sweet and heartbreaking story of true friendship. The effort it takes to keep their relationship strictly platonic and the heart ache each of them feel is overwhelming. Beautifully written story about fear in taking a relationship to the next level. Julia and Ryan each have their own issues that they keep from each other. Each deals the best they can in order to keep the friendship alive.
