review 1: This story takes place after book three, Home Work. We get to see how Mac is dealing with his condition. He is slowly but surely overcoming it, but it is still frustrating that he isn't back to being his old self. It will be a while(but at least he as a chance). He and his family celebrate their first New Year together, and that makes him very happy and blessed. We also get to see how Oliver is doing. He is coming around feeling more comfortable around Mac and isn't as standoffish as he was. He even defends Mac to Terrance, who makes a brief entrance.Overall, it is nice follow-up from book 3, and leaves you yearning to continue their story in book 4.
review 2: I loved this little snippet about life after Mac's injury and his recovery. This was warm and r... moreeassuring that their relationship can stand this struggle. They came together as a couple and as a family. I also warmed up to Oliver even more, he should find someone to care about him. And I enjoyed this little story because it showed us their life continues to have struggles, just like real life...I enjoyed this immensely and like I said already, I would read as many books in this series and the author writes! less
