review 1: This book was fantastic. The story is written in a series of monologues by the various protagonists who were expressing their morbid inner thoughts. As such, the story slowly unfolds when bits of the plot get revealed during their 'confession'. The book was full of suspense and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of reading it. I would strongly recommend you to pick up a copy and immerse yourself in this thriller. No complaints. Perfect. :D
review 2: I would never have heard of this book if it were not for the book review section of "The Week", which is a super informative magazine. The tag line was that this story was "Gone Girl" meets "Lord of the Flies" in Japan and since I liked "Gone Girl", had previously read books set in Japanese schools, and generally ha
... mored been really pleased with previous recommendations from "The Week" got this from the library. Both my oldest daughter and I thought it was great. Do yourself a favor and do NOT read the ending ahead of time. less
