review 1: Wow, these brothers are such drama llamas. It's so difficult to figure out which one to trust. I really enjoyed the little flashback; it shed a little bit of light on things, which was nice. Though, I feel like it probably could have worked a lot better if it had been in a much later chapter.I was a little upset that Kuzunoha wasn't in this volume. But at the same time, I didn't really mind because there was enough going on that his appearance wasn't really necessary.I appreciate that Sakurakoji includes background information about the Eight Daitengu, as well as the glossary at the back of each volume. Yeah, there are some words that I already know from years of watching anime and reading manga. But, it's nice to be able to learn new words, especially if they're in anothe... morer language.Misao's kind of dumb. Let's be serious. Then again, most sixteen year old girls usually are pretty dumb. But it took reading one of her father's books to realize she may die? What did she expect? "Oh Misao, honey, I called the wedding planner today to talk about the centre pieces for the tables. They're just not right."Oh, and I love Taro, Jiro and Saburo. They're so cute.
review 2: Now that Misao know she is hunted by demons and that her blood is wanted by them all she had to admit that Kyo and his followers are her only chance of survival in a world that is thrusting for her blood. But this time his older brother Sho arrives and with him more questions and fears strike Misao. She knows she is very attracted to Kyo, but she isn't sure if he feels the same or that what her blood promises his Tengu family is his only interest? less
