review 1: Oh no, what a letdown. I had such high hopes, and while I did enjoy some bits and the author's writing style, all in all I'm very, very disappointed. Perhaps "disjointed" describes the whole thing best. I got quite confused, the storyline was jumping all over the place, there was no proper build-up to dangerous or emotional situations, Anne's schoolmates and in fact all the other characters remained shadow-like, the final Brent-Anthony decision just unconvincing. Feels like a rushed job, without proper closure. I'm convinced Kara Taylor could have done SO much better, but it seems her heart wasn't quite in it. Too, too bad. :(

I did though enjoy this one, because it made me really think about everything that Anne did, & what others did. But I am excited what will happen to Anne after this book. All I know is that if Kara Taylor doesn't continue, or at least let us know about what happens to Anne, I will probably get irritated.I can't wait for more. less
