Write a story in less than 100 words that open with, “There once was a castle…”
Murder at the Castle
There once was a castle surrounded by a water-filled moat, there were many strange things going on within the stone walls.
The structure was divided into separate living areas for the lord and his family that separated them from the servants.
One night when all was asleep someone had swum across the moat, climbed the wall and enter the master quarters killing the whole family by cutting their throats.
The murderer was never found as the servants had the weekend off and no one could prove it was any of them, as there was nobody alive in the castle.
