review 1: While I enjoyed the first book, this one just isn't working for me. Nathaniel, the love interest, is not appealing to me at all. I find him to be quite insipid. And even though he's supposed to be 18, I feel as if I'm reading about an old man. And as the mc is only 18, it was creeping me out a little bit. Pity, because I enjoyed the storyline and the other characters, but I didn't like when they were together as a couple at all, and there was quite a bit of them.
review 2: I moved on to this second book in the series because I did enjoy the plot and characters. This book also had an interesting continuation of the plot, but unfortunately it became it little too racy at the end. I kept wondering at what point the author decided to turn this book into a romance n... moreovel. Too bad. I don't know whether I can read the third book or not. If it contains a lot of inappropriate scenes, I definitely wont! less
