review 1: This book started out feeling sort of confusing- there were so many characters, it almost felt like I was picking it up in the middle of a series, like I should have been able to keep track better of who was whom. It did get easier as it went along, and turned into an interesting story. I love the premise- all things cosmos and supernatural can be really intriguing- and this was a good mix of believable theories and fantastical storytelling. There is a bit of a Twilight factor at play here as well- the pining supernatural teenager who is older than his body; the homely, shy teenage girl who is sort of moody but turns out to be super powerful and strong; the ridiculously perky BFF; the haunted, scary friend... It's a formula, but it does work well enough so I can't reall... morey fault an author for using it. I'm intrigued enough that I'll keep reading the series to see what happens, even though the writing isn't stellar and the book feels somewhat undeveloped and immature.
review 2: This one was free AND good! Those two things can be rare at times. This was an interesting story. The whole reincarnation element was an idea that I don't think about much. The thought of my soul mate(who I totally believed I married) not knowing me anymore and not remembering us anymore but I remembering everything sounds like pure torture. I know this book is a series but I was pretty pleased with where this one left off and I'm not sure if I need to keep going. I'm not a lover of series at the moment. Over-all glad I read this one. less
