review 1: Accuracy : 5/5Horse novel : 4/5 As a novel in general : 2/5 And no points for dialogue! Enjoyable enough read. Refreshing to read an accurate horse novel for a change. The dialogue really irritated me as I didn't really believe it and the constant name repetition got on my nerves. I spotted a few typos and grammatical errors which just confirmed the book needed some editing. One of those books that 'does exactly what it says on the tin' - chronicles life as a WP and therefore doesn't feel very 'novel like'. I still enjoyed it and shall read the sequel.
review 2: I couldn't put this book down until i had finished it, and I cannot wait to read the 2nd book in the series! While it certainly isn't destined to become classic literature, it's solidly written by someo
... morene who really knows what she's talking about. As importantly, there's not a single page without a horse. While every other book on the topic, ultimately frames its story around a romance or other relationship, horses are central here. This book is an absolute standout, and a truly fun read. less
