review 1: Well, what a lovely book. This is presumably aimed at women readers, but it has a great storyline which should endear it to all readers. This book has it all, drama, romance, humour and so on and engages you from the very beginning with a prologue that suggests all sorts of things and isn't explained till nearly the end of the book, though this is not to the book's detriment. The title is a little odd inasmuch as Claridge's and Christmas have very little to do with the plot - obviously a marketing ploy from somewhere! More than 500 pages of very enjoyable reading.

... moreer to get to the better part which started around page 65. Then the book turned out to be more and more interesting. Overall - I would say it is a good and easy read. However, if you are a careful reader you will be able to predict the ending. :( less
