review 1: I really enjoyed this book but have to say not as much as Karen swan's last novel 'Christmas at Tiffany's' My only slight criticism is that I thought It was long winded and could have been done in less than the 500+ pages. I liked the main character Laura and loved how her life was revealed slowly throughout the book. Also loved rob and kitty but really disliked cat. All in all a good read with a predictable but good ending!
review 2: Initially thought this book was a usual chic lit but once I got into it, it's much more than that. It seems the most of the characters have a secret and you don't find out what they are until near the end! It's definitely a page turner after the half way point, and I really wanted to know what was going to happen next. You initial... morely feel sorry for the main character, then you wonder what in earth she's doing! And by the end you like her again. All in all, a good read and a great page turner. less
