review 1: I'm a huge fan of the video game series and a huge book fan so when they pulled this out of their hats I couldn't resist! Gears of war became more of just a game to me thanks to these books. I loved getting more insight on the characters I was playing as and it made it more personal cause I felt as if I actually knew these people. These are fantastic books to read whether you got some gameplay in or not!
