review 1: ARC copy from NetGalleyI received a copy of The Price of Inheritance from NetGally in exchange for an honest review. I really liked the premise of this book, world of antiques and art,Christie's and Sotheby's. This book has all the right ingredients for a great read, smart and likable heroine, interesting premise, complicated hero and a fascinating mystery. Although the story was very satisfying and a mystery was solved, the conflict between the hero and the heroine, Tyler and Carolyn, is not entirely resolved at the end of the book and I hope there will be a sequel. I would like to see how their relation is developing and more mysteries for Carolyn to solve.

This novel easily deserves 5 stars. I love Karin Tanabe's writing! And, as an extra bonus, she has included book club guide questions and suggestions for further reading. I won't give away the plot here; you can find that easily. What I will tell you, though, I that I enjoyed every minute reading this book and came away with a new interest in the high-stakes auction business and art history.Needless to say, this novel would make an excellent movie too! I'm still thinking about who I would cast as Caroline ... and Tyler ...Thanks to Goodreads for allowing me to read and comment on this great book! less
