I know, I know, you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. But this Wednesday, I chose to take a look at the science fiction new releases purely based on the covers. Number 1: what seems like a mix between Star Wars, Dune and maybe even a little Guardians of the Galaxy (?) , yes please! Number 2: a post-apocalyptic view of New York, gimme! Number 3: seemed a little too philosophical at first, but with the Douglas Adams influences, I was won over! Number 4: a daughter stuck between her father’s wishes and her own conscience – in space – more of that! And finally, number 5: a Doctor Who-like book – every time!
