review 1: Finishing this book left me appreciating the ground work of the novella/short story in the Sexy Beast books I read before this book. I think for me it was the deepest book yet in emotional, spiritual, and pack growth of them all. While I didn't cry w/ the "loss" of a character by the end of the book I understood why I couldn't. There was a purposeful disconnect of her written and I believed and felt the truth in that so I couldn't get too heartbroken. The weaving in of more Igmakuta (sp?) was AWESOME. Really felt good about the direction of the series possibilities after this book.
review 2: This book was interesting because we have Adam with his mate Eve. Or do we? I missed book 9 so I am assuming the mating between these two occurred there. I could be mi... morestaken. Anyway this book essentially does a rewrite if that is the case. Eve has a terrible accident and in comes the goddess Liana. This book has all the standard sexuality that you expect from Wolf Tales but at the same time there is a much deeper emotional level than I have experienced in previous novels. I think so far this is one of my favorite in this series. less
