review 1: Alice is a psychologist who is brought in to help the police officers in London solve a case. Years ago, girls were locked up in small living quarters to starve and then they were brutally killed. The murders were caught and are in jail. There is one problem the same type of killings start happening again. Are the killers that are in prison getting help from the outside or is it just a copycat killer?
review 2: I enjoyed this first book from author Kate Rhodes, but there were some aspects that left me shaking my head. I especially enjoyed the descriptions of London since we came in for the weekend at Waterloo which was near where the main character Alice worked and lived. But I figured out who done it before the end and some of the things that happened just
... more weren't plausible to me. Still an entertaining fast read. less

It was a well written book, although it was dark. I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea.
