review 1: I couldn't decide if I wanted to give the book a three or a four so I'm beginning with three and maybe I'll change it later on. I liked the book and felt that I got to know the characters pretty well but the selfconflict sometimes got a litte boring or boring is the wrong word, it's just that while Aaron and Quinn wantet each other but noting really happened during a long time, not even a little flirting. And then it was the parents...both Quinn's and Aaron's. My mother still thinks she has a say in my life even though I'm 31 and have a family of my own and that obviously was the same for these guys' parents and sometimes that's just annoying.
review 2: This was a really sweet romance between two guys who are just perfect for one another. Aaron is a twenty-two... more year old trying to find someone to help him get rid of his unwanted virginity. Quinn is an older and much more experienced guy who thrives on one night stands. The initial meeting between these two is full of sexual tension and also hints at something beyond physical attraction which is increased when Quinn gets a job working for Aaron's family. Most of this story involves Aaron and Quinn circling around each other while dealing with their own personal issues. It did get a bit frustrating when Quinn continued to push Aaron aside especially when his feelings were so obvious. But, once the author revealed Quinn's past, things started to make sense and I found myself really rooting for these guys to stick together. I've never read anything by Kate Sherwood, but I will definitely be looking for more of her work in the future. less
