review 1: Aack!!! This book dragged me in, kept me there, had my mind whirling with the twists and turns of the characters and events only to have it all wrapped up in a nice neat little package at the end. Where the book seemed to drag in places, the ending was just too much for me. It left me disbelieving and kind of disappointed. Such a wonderful story of love lost, unbelievable grief, incredible friendships and a woman's perseverance to rise above all the tragedy that she has endured only to have it trivialized by an ending that frankly was over the top and not believable. The author had me until the very end. What a bummer!! Once again, I ask goodreads to come up with a 1/2 star rating system. This was 3 1/2 stars for me
review 2: Brilliant!!! 5 plus plus s... moretars!! Katherine Owen is definitely one of my favourite authors!!! The character and storyline development is just fantastic! You can truly relate to the characters in her books and experience their emotional journey with them. The way everything comes together at the end is so amazing! Her writing pulls you in and keeps you glued to your kindle until you finish. This is the second book I have read by Katherine Owen and I can't say enough good things about her writing. If you haven't read one her books you definitely should. less
