review 1: It was a mild book. The pages go by in an instant. It's a very typical not very imaginative paranormal teen fantasy novel. If you are in your very early teens, I guess you will find it good, cause of the chemistry between the characters, the love triangles and a mysterious murder suspense. I honestly believe there are many good books out there, that are set in a more spectacular world and with a story that has more depth. I would recommend this book if you are just super bored and you find your mind lazy.
review 2: Now this was what I wish more YA was like! The story was engaging and tense, and the characters, while young and flawed, weren't eye-rollingly stupid and annoying. I also liked the paranormal story line. The werewolves weren't all good or bad, and
... morethe humans were frequently more dangerous. Even the obligatory love triangle was handled well. I will read the next book in the series. I just hope it doesn't all go to hell in a handbasket in book two. less
