review 1: A fun book filled with zany characters that reminded me slightly of Carl Hiassan's early stories. In other words if you don't take it too seriously you will find it humorous. There was good development of the main characters and in the end left you happy that this couple overcame the obstacles and made it work together. This is my first book in the series but I will definitely be reading the sequels and probably the first couple of books too.
review 2: This third book is Shirlene's story, the twins' best friend. Shirlene had a strong supporting role in the first two books, and with a tragedy that happened to her in the second book, she deserves, I believe, a happy ending.As usual, I like the promotion of familial relationships, despite the NIL blood relatio... morens.And as with any other series, it's all happy endings, which leaves you wanting more....
