review 1: I read this book twice because I had to re-read it to remember what is was about so I could add it to my shelves. Then I remember why I never got that far. It is like a 5 minute quickie, but it was free. So of course now you must purchase the next book to see what happens. However, this one did not even draw me in enough to think about buying the next. The writing was good, just not enough there to make you want to keep reading.
review 2: Novelle #1 Nancy a Freshman gets dragged to a party by her new college roomate. Like at any collge party there is booze and bodies everywhere.Connor saves Nancy from unwanted attension, she flees from sight soon after. When they meet up again sparks fly at first touch. They are drawn together but soon after Ryan throws a wrenc... moreh in this new bond.It is a short quick read. The writing is very simplistic. In the male POV he comes off like I assume mostly college me think...in simple statments. The couple do engage in sexual activity which I'm happy the male was prepared. In this day in age safe sex is best, my thanks to the author for including that. This was a freebie from Amazon and I enjoyed it but I prefer to read the whole story not just novelles. Some people enjoy them I do not, unless I have to whole thing. less
