review 1: Ok, life is too short. I DNFd at 35% for the following reasons:1) She has serious concerns about fraternisation as she is an officer and he isn't - he completely ignores her concerns2) He has just grabbed her in her room, scared the living shit out of her and then when she tells him to leave he says he can't3) When the Mujahedeen attacked the airbase he basically told her to sit down and shut up EVEN though she is also in the military AND an officer4) They keep "talking" about him dominating her/ her surrendering to himI'm disappointed because I have read the first and fourth book in the series and really enjoyed them but I can find no redeeming qualities in Ryan at all.
review 2: I enjoyed this book. The characters were enjoyable. I loved the humor and quick w... moreit. It was different to see a slight role reversal in your traditional military romance. She is the superior officer and worried about her carrier and he isn't as concerned about the regulations for relationships. It was a little weird that he was the sentimental softy more so than her. I will be reading more books by this author. less
