review 1: I'd give this a 3 1/2 star rating. I read this as part of the Danger and Desire collection.This is my second story from this author since I've read the first in this series with another collection. I enjoy this world and would like to see/know more!Is this a standalone book? Even though this is book two in the series, I really think you could possibly get away with not having read Hunt and Khalia's story. Would I recommend that you skip the first? Nope. I really think that you should read book one and the read this one. However if you're going to skip book one and go straight to this one, I don't think you'll be lost.Would I recommend this book to anyone? Yes, I would definitely recommend not only this book but the author to someone who likes a good romance that is center... moreed around former ex-military heroes. Will I continue with the series? Yes, I plan to read any additional books that the author publishes in this series.
review 2: Good entry to the Titanium Security series. This one follows the second-in-command, Gage and his lost love, Claire. Claire has apparently been targeted by the same terrorist cell that targeted a wealthy philanthropist in the foundations of this series. Surprise 1. The members of the TS team are supplemented by a linguist and an FBI agent. The team works to try to understand who and where the terrorist will strike. They are also afraid that they have a traitor in the ranks.Meanwhile, Gage and Claire need to work out their relationship, having broken up once before at Claire's insistence.Claire's brother, a decorated Special Forces veteran, has returned home with physical, psychological and emotional wounds. Claire tries to help him and is devastated at his condition, while under the strain of being targeted.This one is a rather brief entry, but well worth it to follow the trail of the terrorists. Also good is the precursor to the next story, introduced in this one by Sean and Zahra. less
