review 1: I was given a complimentary copy of this book, from the author, in exchange for an honest review.I think the premise behind this book had a lot of potential, but the execution just fell short for me. Some of the content didn't flow as nicely as I would have liked. I usually don't bring up typos, but there were a lot in this book. At one point, I'm pretty sure the author meant to say Lucas, but she said Logan instead. Also, the excessive use of the pet name 'Cookie' and 'y'all', needed some polishing.I do think there is a good message behind this book. Molly isn't your stereo-typical female lead. I like that the author wasn't afraid to make her 'real'. In the end, she finds her strength and does what she needs to do. We all have struggles we need to overcome. It's easy to f... moreeel sorry for ourselves and do nothing about them. It takes courage to stand up and that is just what Molly does.Logan is just very sweet. He does have some skeletons in his closet, so he isn't completely perfect.All in all, I would give this book between 3 and 3.5 stars.
review 2: I would give this book 5 stars! If you are looking for a bumble gum romance this is not the book for you. This book deals with abuse that women sometimes go through by others and by our own minds. This is a very good but intense read and all the characters are very relatable. With a corky best friend and over-protective boss and a major douche. Molly is a girl who has had a rough life and doesnt believe she deserves her happily ever after.Logan had his life planned out and thought it was going great til everything came crashing down. So when Molly and Logan meet they see something in each other but neither thinks it will work. Shes with Brian and Logan and Brian go way back. When i started reading this book I didnt want to put it down. You are hoping that things will go one way then you are wanting to beat somebodys butt. I dont want to give to much of this book away but you need to read it. And even though its part of a series you are not left with a huge cliffhanger. But you will want to dive right in to the second book which is what im going to do now. I would highly recommend this book!!! It is a wonderful story!! less
