Found here! This month’s topic is mysteries! I love mysteries, even if I don’t read too many of them. I interpreted the topic ‘mystery’ pretty loosely honestly, and basically included any book that was vaguely mysterious (sorry).
Angels and Demons by Dan BrownI know Dan Brown novels are controversial in that some people like them and others hate them, but I tend to like them (at least this trilogy). Angels and Demons was always my favourite!
And Then There Were None by Agatha ChristieI think I’ve talked about this book to death, but I just love it. It’s the best-crafted mystery I’ve ever read and I highly recommend it.
The Lovely Bones by Alice SeboldThis is a different kind of mystery in that we the readers know what happened, and the narrator knows what happened, but most of the other characters don’t. Again, this book seems to be love-hate, but I really enjoyed it.
I am the Messenger by Markus ZusakOne of my favourite books ever. It’s mysterious in that we don’t know why Ed is being asked to do what he is.
Fight Club by Chuck PalahniukI just really like this book okay? Please give it a read.
The Secret of the Old Clock by Carolyn KeeneThis is a classic Nancy Drew and it was one of my favourites as a kid. I think it’s still suited for adults and I highly recommend it.
Thanks for reading!
