review 1: Io adoro K.C. Wells, ho letto praticamente tutti i suoi libri e sono contentissima per la traduzione di questa serie.Mi piace l'ambientazione, mi piacciono i personaggi, tutto.La traduzione è abbastanza buona anche se forse un'ultima revisione avrebbe potuto aggiustare qualche difetto, ma forse sono troppo pignola (però "fare due parole" non si può sentire).Non mi piace molto neanche l'accento che è stato dato ad Ed ma questo è un gusto personale.So che nella versione originale ha una cadenza particolare, perché all'inizio è stato difficile abituarmi a leggere i suoi dialoghi, ma non mi piace veder tradotti gli accenti. La storia è ambientata a Londra, i personaggi sono inglesi, stona un po' l'accento un po' troppo romano, io preferisco immaginarlo.Una bellissima s... moretoria comunque.
review 2: Blake is a really great guy. Great boss, great friend, genuine nice guy so it's sad to see he's unhappy. Worried that his father will disapprove, he hides the fact that he is gay and goes out with whatever woman his father set him up with. To satisfy his needs, he uses an 'escort with benefits' agency and on his birthday he meets Will. Will can't understand why a man such as Blake would need to hire his services and honesty enjoys their time together. Two enjoyable characters, well written sex scenes including hot office sex and a scornful woman causing mischief. Really enjoyed this book, only niggling thing was the character with the cockney accent, was all a bit Mary Poppins OTT. less
