March 2017 Wrap-Up

This month has been so busy that I’ve only had time to read six books. Part of that is because of being so popular (I jest, but my social life has been uncomfortably full this month), and the other is that I’ve mostly been reading slow books. Here’s my extravagantly long list of six.

1: CARAVAL by Stephanie Garber

★★★★☆ – I adored this and it would have had five stars if it hadn’t been trying so hard to be THE NIGHT CIRCUS.

2: WAYFARER by Alexandra Bracken

★★★★★ – Possibly my favourite book of the year so far. I adored PASSENGER and this was the perfect sequel. I cried.

3: SCRAPPY LITTLE NOBODY by Anna Kendrick

★★★★☆ – Anna Kendrick is one of my favourite actresses so I was really excited to get my hands on her book. I was not disappointed.

4: THE FIFTH LETTER by Nicola Moriarty

★★★★☆ – Packed full of plot twists, this book is brilliant at keeping you guessing. A new must-read author for me.

5: ALL OUR WRONG TODAYS by Elan Mastai

★★★★☆ – This isn’t a novel. It’s a memoir. Time travel is one of my favourite sci-fi tropes. Loved this.

6: THE BEST OF ADAM SHARP by Graeme Simsion

★★☆☆☆ – Truly disappointing. Good writing and could have been a good story but I hated Adam Sharp.

Have you read any of these? Let me know what you thought, or what you loved this month!
