review 1: Room No. 10 by Åke Edwardson is the seventh in the series, which I failed to notice prior to reading the book. There are times when reading the previous books in a series is important, and in the case of Edwardson’s Inspector Winter series, I do believe order is crucial. I will read Edwardson’s series from the beginning, as I do enjoy the genre and thus I shall wait to rate Room No. 10 until I have been able to catch up with the series.
review 2: I wonder if I would have enjoyed this book more had I picked an earlier one out of the series, but needless to say I didn't because I didn't realize until it was too late. ... morehe authors very descriptive approach to scenery, I think that aspect may have actually been my favorite. Sure there were mildly creepy parts, but overall I guess I found this lacking when it came to my original expectations. I can't honestly say whether or not I will read others by him, but I'm mildly tempted. I guess I was overall disappointed because I never felt the plot truly steal away my attention however I am curious how I will feel when I reflect a little more on it. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys fiction from this region, or enjoy methodical detective mysteries, not mystery-thriller seekers, it will be to slow for you. Happy reading! less

I had a hard time keeping the time frame straight in this one. Otherwise, it would have been a 4.
