review 1: nice book... great ending! SPOILERS!!!!The first and second book where better written, this one, I feel like it goes too slow at some boring parts and too fast without that much detail at the important parts, for example:the wedding, it finally happened and it's not big deal, a chapter only. the honey moon, it doesn't describes the place that much, a chapter only. and by the way, Costa Rica is NOT in South America, is in Central America!Will read Afterlife now...
review 2: Overall, I enjoyed this series although I did have a couple of critiques about the writing. In terms of the story, I found it to be very original so kudos to the author for creating an out of the ordinary angel story. In terms of the characters, the main protagonist Jessica, I found to be sl... moreightly annoying at times. She seemed a tad too intense as well as too syrupy at times. Seems like a paradox to say that but that's my perception of her and her struggle as a changed being and the crisis it evokes versus her impassioned love for Alex, the love of her life. I also felt like it took too long to get answers to the burning questions of why throughout the series. I just wanted to turn the page (figuratively speaking since I was reading an e-book) and get the answers I was looking for as a reader. But like I said, overall, I read it and I don't regret reading it. It's always a pleasure to read and discover new worlds, albeit made up ones. less
