review 1: I find the writers style frustrating and it took a bit of getting used to. I found it just a bit too conversational. Then the plot (about a serial killer) got me hooked and I found it hard to put down. But seriously....the ending was just so "unbelievable' - as in fictional and out there,I do not mean good - that I was really disappointed. The book also left the reader hanging to find out what happens in the next installment in the series. But given the ending to this book, I decided that I don't care enough to bother reading the next book.
