review 1: Like what Blake said, this series is REALLY underrated. It's one of my favorite series, and all of the characters just tie together perfectly and just ahh!My favorites went in this order: the reckoning, the summoning, the awakening. The only bad thing about this book is that it sometimes did overly describe stuff that I could really just picture without all the description. Also, it was a little gory at times, but that's a part to make it interesting. There is so much I could say about this trilogy and how much I loved it, but I won't make anyone read that much, so ill just say this:If you like paranormal, teenagers with overly strong powers, action, suspense, and a little romance, this series is for you!
review 2: Chloe Saunders is a normal teenager with one exc
... moreeption. She can see the dead. That and she can also talk to them raise them and see replays of the more violent deaths. Oh ya I forgot she also a living science experiment is being chased by something called the Edison group and her only companions are a temperamental, sarcastic, and hateful witch. A extremely anti social werewolf with anger issues, and an all around hot sorcerer. O yeah I forgot to mention she has a thing for both the were wolf and the sorcerer who just happen to be foster brothers and is leaning toward the one with anger issues. OK maybe her life isn't all that normal. With this book comes twist and turns, adventure, fighting, betrayal, paranormal activity, fantasy, and to top it of a bit of romance. Characters will grow and change, people will switch sides and things will get more and more confusing. This is defiantly a trilogy worth reading. less

I had already read the first book in this trilogy. At the time, it was just ok. But over the past few months, I have thought about it quite a bit and decided to continue with the second book. There were a few slow sections, but overall it was a decent series. As a side note: I was relieved to be back in the squeaky clean YA genre after the last few more, um...risqué books I'd picked up. This one had a few mild curse words sprinkled in, but a kiss was as far as the physical stuff went.

I absolutely loved this series. Kelley Armstrong didn't fail to wow me as I read each and every one of these books in this trilogy. You can so plainly see the chemistry between Derek and Chloe even though he's so blunt and mean sometimes. He does this on the outside, but on the inside, he really cares about her and it's so sweet. I really recommend this series! I've reread it so many times but I still never get tired of it.
