review 1: Wow such a dark tragedy story, I could not put it down. Archer is so lost and confused. Getting inside his head was a little sad and scary. To be loved, to be able to receive love and truly finding himself. Inspite of all he has done I found myself hoping for the best for him and when Evan came into the picture he was the only light and hope but he himself was a little confusing. For Evan to be able to love someone like Archer I dont understand. Vivian is so lost and scary. This story made me wonder and yet I am ok with the way it ended.
review 2: Okay, so I kinda liked this book - it was interesting and different from other books I've read. But I just had trouble understanding Evan - how he could just be "okay" with Archer and what he's done. It didn't ... moremake any sense to me... I didn't buy it. But that aside, I did like Evan as a person, and I did like the relationship between he and Archer. I was surprised to like Archer in spite of what he'd done, and was rooting for him while he struggled with his redemption. I felt bad for him too. I never really got or even liked Vivian. It was weird because even though she was a main character, she seemed more a supporting character. She was almost a non-entity to me. I just wasn't focused on her, regardless of her role in the book. less
