review 1: Kelly have won me over as a fan ever since I read “Broken Fences” the first book in the “Trouble Maker Series” and every time I know that the next book will be release I play “stalk a book.” Kelly’s writing is explicitly unique to her own characters and every book differs, even though, you get introduced to them one time or the other in the other books. This time around we get a glimpse into the life of Lucky, and boy what a life that is, he gets himself involved with Kaley, the girl who’s trying to drop her “good girl” pass. I don’t think Kaley was in for what she signed up for when she agreed with Lucky, and I wasn’t expecting it either. I know Kelly can write some steamy sex scenes and hot damn she didn’t disappoint me on bit. As always she tur... morened them sex scenes in her bitch and make her readers hot all over. It was so good to see Kaley come into her own independence and become the person that she destined to be, a woman and not a “girl.” As always a lovely book written by one of my favorite authors, Kelly Gendron.
review 2: I love Kelly Gendron, I wish she would write Faster! I cannot wait to get my hands on more of her work. The characters came to life and I could feel everything they were going through. At times I wanted to reach in and smack the pee outta someone at others I was ready to cry. Kaley was just so easy to love and identify with, wanting to be herself and not someone else’s idea of who she should be. The situations that she got herself into seemed so real that I wondered if she was going to call me for help. I am in love with Lucky. He is the ultimate in badass with a soft side and trust me you will love him too. I strongly recommend a tissue because sometimes you will be laughing so hard you will cry. Very emotionally charged and highly addictive, I read the book all in one sitting, the kiddos are hungry, who wha… nah they will be alright. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review. less
