review 1: (3.75 rating) When I first read this book I was really curious. I'd just finished a really great series and was in a mourning period because of this. The plot was new and I liked the idea of Fear and other emotions being people. I liked most aspects about it until there was that love triange. Another thing was besides having all those emotions running around the only one who had like any emotions was Fear, and his were still kind of disappointing. Yes I know the book is about a girl who can't feel emotions, but I feel like the author was hiding behind that aspect throughout the entire book. It was good for the most part but a bunch of the end I like totally zoned out because there wasn't much to care about cause it was all kind of monatone.
review 2: Well th... moreis book was such a mind bender. Anyone who's read midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick and liked it would love this book. It spanned across time and it started slow but picked up speed as you finally realized that the main character does have hope. Then towards the end all hell brakes loose. I don't know why I keep reading freaky boos and I feel like I'm saying this every review but don't read this at night;) less
