review 1: I didn't know it was possible to fall more in love with a series. I am truly enjoying this! I really like Alice Goodenough as the main female. I love all the characters she interacts with, both good & bad. I couldn't put this down. I kept telling myself "Just one more page...gotta see what happens next". Great series and can't wait for the next volume. **Note: I know these are sold as separate stories but I started with the volumes, where they are groups of three (I believe) and I'm really enjoying them that way.
review 2: I got the Kindle e-book from Amazon. It was much better than the first volume. Things are really starting to happen, and the characters are really growing into their roles. It pulled me in, it really did. I love Alice now, where at firs... moret I thought she was annoying. I can't wait to read the next volume, and I'm excited to see what comes next. As with the last one, the Grimm stories they referenced are at the back of the book, and I'm glad they kept this up! less
