Whirlwind was okay. The character development is still good, and the mythology towards the end of the book was quite intriguing.

Overall, Whirlwind kind of bored me. I didn’t feel like the pacing or the plot was quite as strong as the other books in the series. The beginning and the end were okay, but the middle was fairly bland in comparison. While I still enjoy the series, Whirlwind was probably my least favorite so far.

I’d recommend Whirlwind to anyone who has read the other books in The Dreamhouse Kings series.
