review 1: Best childrens book we found in 2014. We love it and have read it countless times. Creative, fun, and the end makes us laugh out loud each time. Priceless way to spend reading time with the kids. This will be one they remember when the go off into the world. And I plan to purchase a copy for the house, we always have it checked out from the library. Next we plan to see what else Nesbitt has written. Thanks for making parenting so much fun at bedtime!
review 2: The book more bears is a cute book for young children to read about writing a book. It is a very creative and interesting approach to showing young children the thought process of being a writer. It shows them the thought process of what should be in the story. This would be a great read aloud book... more in which the children could use their predictions and repetition and say MORE BEARS when the time comes. This book could be read with pre-k through 1st grade.Learning Experience:An activity I would do with this book would be to write a class story. Have the students decide what it’s going to be about and how many characters it’s going to have. Kind of like retelling the story of More Bears but having the students make it be about something else. less
