review 1: 4.5Oh Yes. Yes.Sir.E.Bob!Keri, you have a fan here missy - ok, yeah, genre is clearly BDB and LoTU and DAD...and thank GOSH for that cause that genre is golden...and there is such uniqueness *here* to be it's own. What is just fascinating to me is how this story didn't focus on the Bros, it introduced them by way of the overall story and the main romance of A and K and the romance wasn't even the focus of the story. For this reader, any story that isn't featured on the smex/romance and is still this good *IS THIS GOOD*. I don't even typically 'like' Alpha Females and the heroine her is one. I NEVER even skipped through my Kindle to see what was going to happen next...I was engrossed.Gavin...Gavin...Gavin. Me Love You, my man. And may Sabelle be the one for you cause... more I'm a liking her!Up next...come to mama Logan.
review 2: Action packed and emotion pulling!I came late to this series. A friend suggested it and I decided to give it a try and man, am I GLAD I did! I love the dynamics of each of the characters, they each have different personalities and goals but each works as a whole... much like any family with more than one male in it! At first I admit, I was somewhat leery about it. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but as it turns out it’s a good thing I kept reading. There were twists to the story I didn’t see coming, blind bends that dropped you off of an emotional cliff hanger and shoved you into the dark only to flash the high beams of the train at the end of the tunnel! Keri Lake is phenomenal at pulling your heart-strings, making me often growl at the book or shout at the characters as they leap off of the pages and come to life before your very eyes! I so look forward to reading more of this series! less
