review 1: I really enjoyed Soul Avenged and was looking forward to the next book in the series. While I do prefer books that centre around the same main characters in a series I was still engrossed in the Logan and Calla's story. Their relationship is quite strained in the begining and the characters themselves are full of contractdictions, being extremely tough on the outside yet emotionally fragile. Initially there was a lot of world building and the story tended to get too bogged down in the details but the action picks up and the pace is fast from there on in. A little something for everyone with some hot steamy interludes, plenty of action and adventure and some plot twists to keep you guessing. Definitely one to put on your TBR pile if you don't already have it on your ... morelist.
review 2: Great book! I was immediately swept back into this amazing world of demons, Alexi, and many other creatures. Kind of strange to say, but I actually missed Ayden a little in the beginning, but was soon taken in by Logan's story. I can't wait to read Gavin's story next. Hoping this story goes beyond a trilogy as book 2 left me wanting to know more about the other brothers also. Keri has a talent for developing characters and bringing them to life. Anxiously awaiting #3! less
