review 1: Connor the Laird of the MacLaughlans has been hired to take care of the traitor of the McKays. Lindsay Ross has been promised to the traitor Angus McKay and she is not happy about it. In the end she has no choice. She really annoyed me but I think it was more to the fact that she was so relgious but that is my own personal problem. While travelling to her betrothed. Her and her guards from the McKays are attacked by Connor and so the fun begins. Of course there is the HEA that everyone is waiting for. I really enjoyed this and I know that there was more dialogue but the first one is my favorite.
review 2: Highlanders, Berserkers and Love! Lindsay is betrothed to an awful man, but it is her duty to obey her father and so she is traveling to him. A deep fog eng... moreulfs her coach and she begins to hear sounds of men screaming their last breath before death. Her curiosity gets the better of her and she leans out the small window in the door of the coach only to see an axe come down upon one of her escorts heads which splits it and sprays her with blood and other bits of gore. All of a sudden, things go quiet and the door to the coach is ripped away. The Devil himself enters, leans in and...sniffs her?A low growl comes from the behemoth of a man and he begins a sensual assault of her lips, cheeks, throat and more. The Devil is gentle with her and causes a rush of feelings she's never felt before. The beast of a man removes her from the carriage and takes her to his home. He tells her his name is Connor and he is the Laird of this place. He also tells her that she is his mate.So much more happens, but I would spoil the adventure if I did. A fantastic story and thrilling romance.Sexual situations for mature readers only. less
